Camping!

Finally!  Our first camp out of the season and it's already the end of July!  Holy cow, where did the year go?

Anyway, we're all packed up and ready to go, the dog is at the sitter, we have arrangements for Neese to go check on the cat and feed the fish.  Now to just get thru a few more hours of work.

Hopefully this post won't get us robbed, but I'm too excited to keep it in!  I'm so ready to get out of here!

Yay!

Not Much to Report

Not a whole lot has happened in our lives recently that has been blog worthy.  We have the kegerator up and running, but still only have one keg in it.  It has been used several times and works great, we had a small party at our house and it was much enjoyed and the beer was declared wonderful.

Our Anniversary was on the 30th and all I can say is it was weird.  We spent one night away and five days off work and had lots of ups and downs.  Our one night away was really odd.  It's pointless to get a room with a jacuzzi if the jacuzzi has a leaky pipe, and it is a total mood killer when the people in the room below complain about the water dribbling out of their ceiling and maintenance guys have to come into your room to fix the problem.  It didn't help that pay-per-view wasn't working either so we were relegated to normal TV.  At least we got a discount on the room for it and some time to play Black Jack.  But that was weird too, I couldn't win for the life of me and the Huz started winning any time I wasn't at the table.  So much for that.

My brother and some of his clan came in from out of state over the weekend and we got to see and have lunch with 18 or so members of my family on Saturday, most of which I don't get to see very often, which was awesome.  Too bad they came home for not so good reasons.  A funeral and a broken leg aren't fun reasons, but it was still nice to see them all.  The Huz and I then spent the evening at home watching movies.

I got to read for most of the day yesterday and didn't have to do too many chores.  I don't get to do that too often and it was wonderful!  I'm on the second book for Game of Thrones and loving it.  I'm also addicted to the UK version of the series Being Human and spent most of the evening watching that.

Til next time.
